A NEW version of Errol Flynn’s 1935 swashbuckling pirate classic Captain Blood - but this time set in space - is to be made for Warner Bros. Michael and Peter Spierig will direct the feature, from a script by John Brownlow. In the original, Flynn played wrongfully-imprisoned British doctor Peter Blood who escapes to become a pirate in the Caribbean.
