The Collected Works of Tony Millionaires Sock Monkey
The Collected Works of Tony Millionaires Sock Monkey

Here is a beautiful collection of work from Eisner Award winner Tony Millionaire. This book collects his latest four comic books, including the scandalous issue in which Uncle Gabby is so distraught over the accidental killing of a baby bird that he attempts suicide. The evolution of the Sock Monkey is evident in these books, as he grows from innocent gatherer of salamanders to maniacal burner of planets in the final issue. A lovely book, designed by the award-winning graphic designer, Lia Ribacchi. Collecting volumes 3 and 4 of the popular comic book series.
User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Fantastic
The Sock Monkey tales are great stories, full of fantastic illustrations. Tony Millionaire’s art is unique and impressive, and is strongly inspired by early 20th century art. The Sock Monkey tales are a great read and are innocent enough to be read by children (unlike Tony Millionaire’s Maakies).
1 Star Not what I expected
I bought this book to accompany a sock monkey toy for my granddaughter. But I was unable to give the book to her because it is too dark and graphic for a child. My mistake for thinking this was a children’s book.
